Acme Solar Q3 Results: Acme Solar Holdings Ltd has reported a stellar performance in the December quarter of FY25, reporting a massive 155% rise in net profit to ₹112 crore. This is a significant jump from the net profit of ₹44 crore recorded in the same period last year. Following the impressive results, Acme Solar shares hit an upper circuit of 10%, trading at ₹191.23 per share on the BSE at 10:40 am on January 29.

Revenue Growth and Financial Highlights

The Gurugram-based company reported a 5% growth in revenue from operations, rising to ₹349 crore in Q3FY25 from ₹332 crore in Q3FY24.

In its filing with the stock exchange, Acme Solar highlighted key metrics that reflect its strong financial health.

Revenue Growth

10% y-o-y growth for the quarter, driven by the phased commissioning of the 1200 MW SECI ISTS project.

EBITDA Margin

Improved to an impressive 90% in Q3FY25 compared to 85% in Q3FY24, driven by favorable operating leverage.

PAT Margin

Jumped to 28% in Q3FY25 from 12% in Q3FY24, reflecting strong profitability.

Debt Reduction and Future Outlook

Acme Solar has also made significant progress in reducing its debt burden. As of January 25, 2025, the company had used ₹2,070 crore from its IPO proceeds towards debt repayment, resulting in a substantial reduction in outstanding debt.

Moving Beyond Solar

Acme Solar has transformed itself from a solar power project developer to a fully integrated renewable energy company. The company now develops, builds, owns, operates, and maintains utility-scale renewable energy projects through its in-house engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) division as well as its operations and maintenance (O&M) team.

With revenue streams including selling power to central and state government-supported entities, Acme Solar continues to consolidate its position as a leading renewable energy player in India.
